Dr. Jodi Holbrook was born in Dixon, Illinois. She attended Northern Illinois University for her undergraduate education where she received a Bachelor of Science. She attended medical school at the University of Iowa, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. During her residency she served as Chief Resident, received the James Ingram Research Award, and was chosen to be a part of the President’s Circle of Excellence at Tampa General Hospital.
Dr. Holbrook has practiced in the Rockford area since 1992. She has received the “Best Doctors of America” award. This honor was bestowed upon her by fellow practicing physicians in the area.
Dr. Holbrook founded Cornerstone Clinic in 1996 and has raised two children of her own.
Brittany Frisella, APN, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa. She then continued her education, earning her Master of Sciences in Nursing at Loyola University in Chicago.
Brittany began her career as a labor and delivers nurse at Swedish American Hospital. For the last 6 years she has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner, most recently with an emphasis in Women's Health.
Brittany believes in treating patients with respect and compassion. She empowers them to make healthy lifestyle decisions and informed treatment options. She believes in promoting and optimizing wellness through patient education and by building a trusting patient provider relationship.
A native of Rockford, Brittany is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Rebekah Carey is a certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from University of San Diego, a post-master's nurse practitioner certificate from University of Illinois-Chicago, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Univeristy of Alabama.
She has 19-years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, as well as several years as an RN in reproductive endocrinology and obstetrics. Serving three years in a medical mission in Zambia was a unique opportunity and has enriched her practice ever since.
